Okonomiyaki: the delicious all-purpose Japanese pancake

  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Pour the okonomiyaki batter into the pan, forming a circle 8-10 inches in diameter. Cook for about 5 minutes or until golden brown on the bottom.
  3. Using a spatula, flip the okonomiyaki over and cook on the other side for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove okonomiyaki from pan and place on a plate.
