“Tokyo Ghoul” takes us into a universe where supernatural creatures, ghouls, hide among humans, feeding on human flesh to survive. Following a tragic incident, Kaneki Ken finds himself transformed into a half-ghoul, endowed with supernatural powers, but also an insatiable hunger. Left to his own devices, he must juggle between his vital need to feed on human flesh and his desire to preserve his humanity. In a quest for understanding and acceptance of his new self, Kaneki finds himself thrust into a war between ghouls and the CCG government organization that hunts them.
